Manon Falardeau

Manon currently working with IIA as a Research Volunteer in a partnership between Invest in Africa and World University Service of Canada (WUSC). She supports the organization to conduct research aimed at increasing enrolment of SMEs, support in assessment of SMEs, develop a strategy to track progress of SMEs to increase enrolment on the Biashara platform consequently linking them to investment opportunities. This mandate contributes to her Master's degree in International Development Management at Laval University. Previously, she operated her own food business for 10 years before continuing her studies at the university. She also participated in a project in Haiti as a mentor for a women farmers' organization. Finally, for the past 2 years, she has worked with an organization that helps immigrants to Canada integrate.
