At Invest in Africa (IIA), our commitment to championing disaster risk resilience is at the forefront of our mission. We recognize that Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of global economies, and their resilience in the face of disasters is vital for prosperity of these economies.  

IIA has consistently advocated for an all-of-society approach to disaster management. Emphasizing the shift from disaster response to disaster management, fostering sustainable development, and guiding enterprises toward environmentally sustainable practices. Through a Networks Approach, we are successfully convening key stakeholders to build the resilience of MSMEs in the present volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous business environments.  

This approach has garnered us respect and admiration from local communities and global entities alike. 

Today, we are excited to share a momentous achievement that underscores our commitment to disaster resilience and our growing influence on the global stage. Our esteemed Country Manager, Terry Kinyua has been appointed to the board of ARISE Global Network—an international organization renowned for bringing visionary leaders, change-makers, and organizations together to address critical global challenges.
